ASRA is pleased to advise that we’ll be completing the upgrade of the current 2-lane to 3-lane Main Entrance (Resident, Visitor & Common Exit) of the enclave. We’re also upgrading (changing) the entire Security System at the Entrance which include Barriers (new), Loop Detector (new), Card Access System (new), UHF Readers (new), RFID Guard Patrol System (new), RFID Check Point Tags (new), CCTV System with 16-channel VR & 8 Weather Proof Cameras (new) & IC Reader (new). All these are targeted to complete by mid-Jan 2013.

On 1 Dec 2012, we’ve changed the Guard Company to Kawalan Keselamatan Sinar Sdn Bhd with all new 8 guards – 4 per shift (fully screened by PDRM). For reiteration, the emergency contact number at the Guard House is +60 11 2632 3268. Please save this number in the “Contacts” of every mobile phone at home! Meanwhile, we’ll be issuing the Active Tags with lithium battery (Note: 2 FREE per address & additional tags are chargeable as a deposit where the amount is to be determined later by the residents) in early Feb 2013 to all units with no outstanding Security Fees payment from Jun 2012 to Apr 2013 (RM880.00 + RM10.00 ASRA Membership Fees). We’re targeting implementation of the Card Access System in Q1/13 subject to early “full & complete payment” by majority, if not all units. After which, residents without tags will have to register at the Guard House (like any Visitor does) even with the new ASRA Car Sticker!

Going forward, the tags will be one of the key controls for vehicles entry/exit into our enclave – hence, residents are to help us to help you by not ordering additional tags unnecessarily or simply passing/loaning it to non-“fulltime” residents (e.g. relatives, etc) & outsiders (especially renovation contractors, etc)!

Other completed initiatives by ASRA are as follows:

Hired a Fulltime ASRA Admin Staff (Nor Asikin Binti Aziz);
Hired a Fulltime Gardener;
Installed new Basketball Board;
Installed Electric Power Point/Socket at the Park with Casing & Lock;
Installed of Convex Mirrors;
Installed of Speed/Children-Crossing Signs;
Constructed Road Humps;
Painted Zebra-Crossing at the Park;
Hosted Hari Keluarga Alam Sanctuary sempena Aidilfitri;
Hired 2 additional guard from 3 guards/shift to 5 guards/shift;
Set-up 4 new Guard Posts at strategic locations;
Issued New Car Stickers & Gate Tags;
Purchased new Mobile Phone for ASRA (+60 19 313 9606);
Guard Escort for every Visitor entering the enclave – escort vehicle to house, ring doorbell & handover to owner to be acknowledged before leaving.

Other projects by ASRA in the pipeline before we call for AGM in Q1/13 to elect the new team of ExCo:

Hosting of Monthly Guard Company-Residents Meeting starting Feb 2013 – after CNY;
Repainting of Guard House & Perimeter Fencing;
Purchasing of 2 Fire Extinguishers at the Guard House for use in case of fire in the enclave;
Replanting of “Dead” Trees in the enclave;
Reprinting of New Sets of Visitor/Non-Paying Resident/Contractor Pass;
Hosting of Christmas/Deepavali/New Year/Chinese New Year Open House (all-in-one);
Installing of Barb Wires at the top of the Perimeter Fencing;
Installing FREE Wi-Fi at the Park (First in Malaysia for a housing enclave but will be decided by residents during the AGM through voting);
Building of Small-Scale Enclosed Gymnasium at the Park (First in Malaysia for a housing enclave but will be decided by residents during the AGM through voting);
Building of Therapeutic Koi Pond at the Park (Will be decided by residents during the AGM through voting);
Building of a Mini Swimming Pool at the Park (Will be decided by residents during the AGM through voting).

Cheque Payment (made payable to Persatuan Penduduk Taman Alam Putra) at the Guard House: Tue – Sat (9.00 am - 6.00 pm) & Sun (9.00 am – 1.00 pm). Strictly NO cash payment accepted to avoid disputes;
Cash Deposit/Payment into Maybank CDM & send/pass to ASRA the Deposit Slip for reconciliation.
