Smart dressed professional break-ins.
Last Saturday about 3pm, a superlink house in BK6B was broken in.
An indian man and a Chinese lady in early 30's dressed in office wear broke into the house. According to the house owner who was away from Penang, her house alarm was (triggered) as it was connected to her handphone. She asked her neighbour to check on it but there was no alarm (siren).
The neighbour saw this Chinese lady and Indian man and asked them what they were doing. They said they were from Maxis to check (on) the internet connection problem.
After they left in about 20 mins, the neighbour checked with the security guards. Apparently these pro theives registered under false names and I.C. numbers.
The CCTV had no recordings on it? They came in a black Honda Accord.
2 laptops, a digicam, a PDA, and jewelleries worth nearly RM20k were reported missing!
A similar incident happened lunch time TODAY (11/6/2008) at a semi-D at BK6, but the Chinese lady and Indian man came in a Chevrolet, blue color. Losses were estimated at RM15k.
The thieves again registered false name at the guard house.

This morning, robbers driving a Camry broke into a home at Jalan BK5B/5A. However, a neighbour came back just in time and foiled them from stealing anything valuable. They fleed.
Last week 24/7/2009 between 8pm-10pm, kids on bicycles stole 2 bicycles from a home at Jalan BK5B/1B.
Two saturdays ago, in the afternoon around 3pm, there was a similiar incident involving a Camry at BK3. Their break-in was interrupted by the taman security and the two chinese guys fled in the Camry. They were tailed and one of them got off the Camry at Bukit Jalil and was apprehended by members of the taman security and handed over to the police.
The other fellow escaped.
For everyone's information, a home at Jalan BK5B/1 also got broken into, presumably by the same people at 11am. In BK5 there was also one similar case today.
read in the bdr puteri , puteri 11 blogspot...they have an attempted break-in..2 men and 2 women (believe is middle eastern people)...driving a Toyota Alphard.... got to beware thief driving big cars.
It was good to hear at least a few of these break in were able to be stopped, thanks to neighbours and security guards. It's a good habit to at least call a neighbour if suspicious people was seen in their house or near their house. It is okay to be embarrased if those were mistaken than to be sorry.
I think it is perfectly alright to be 'kepoh' abit, look at the car, and take a picture of cars near your house that is not familiar, either with your camera or handphone. We all got to unite and do this to beat these new generation of buglars.
We now now, they prefer to act during daytime and they all drive nice cars. But to be safe, just assume they come in any car.
I wish I had asked for more details of the Camry as I forgot to ask. As for women involved, I believed this gang has been around. Remember the last time it was reported in Malay Mail where they came in a blue car? I don't believe they were ever caught. They probably lied low for the last few months and now they are up to their monkey tricks again. I love to see what measures our local police will take in their attempt to reduce crime by 20%.
Dear All, the BK3 house that was broken into 2 Saturday ago was done by 3 Chinese men aged 20-30. They drove a Gold Camry (new model). They broke into the house at abt 4pm on Saturday after the occupants left the house at abt 2.45pm. They pushed opened the auto gate and managed to pull the glass door opened without breaking the locked knob. they cut the pad lock inside the grill door.

Car Stolen Inside the House within a Gated & Guarded Enclave!!!
Dear Alam Sanctuarians,
http://forum.bandarkinrara.com/index.php?topic=824.msg11685;boardseen#new
Hence, it's very crucial that every person which steps into the enclave needs to be monitored especially flyer spammers, Astro installers, roti-man, strangers, visitors, purchaser-in-disguise, etc.!
Thanks & Regards,
Steven Wong.
